Romney Endorses Haley

(AP) _ Former presidential hopeful Mitt Romney isendorsing state Rep. Nikki Haley for governor. The former Massachusetts governor hailed the LexingtonRepublican in a statement Tuesday for her character and leadership. Romney says Haley impressed him during his 2008 GOP primary runin South Carolina. He says she has a record of fighting wastefulspending. Haley is one of four seeking the GOP nomination for governor. Her competitors already have picked up endorsements from 2008presidential hopefuls. GOP nominee and Arizona Sen. John McCain is backing AttorneyGeneral Henry McMaster; former Tennessee Sen.
