N. Main Streetscape Almost Done

Construction on a main corridor in downtown Columbia is almost finished. You may have seen dramatic changes if you’ve driven down North Main Street lately. The road has been re-paved within the last several weeks, capping off a two year, 19 million dollar project. There are a few small details left to finish, but businesses say they are already noticing a difference. Engineers say the project came in on time and under budget. Work has already started on the next construction phase, where North Main meets Fairfield Road towards 1-20. For more on this story, click on the video player.
