Candidates Prepare for Last Leg of City Council Race

The race for the Columbia City Council District II seat enters its final leg. With one week until the city’s general election on April 6, candidates scramble to get publicity. We have been following the list of contenders since the impromptu race began. The race came about as a result of longtime councilman E.W. Cromartie resigning amid federal tax evasion charges.
