Tent Worms Set Up Camp
Some unwanted campers may be setting up tents on your property. Scott Hawkins with the State Forestry Commission says many of us will begin noticing silky tents popping up in our trees. Hawkins says these belong to the Eastern Tent Caterpillar. While unsightly, these critters are not destructive in any way. But, if you want to get rid of them, Forestry officials say the best way is to avoid the chemicals and just use a long stick to swipe them out of your trees.
