14-year-old Arrested in Sunday Shooting
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A suspect in a weekend shooting was turned in by his parents Monday.
Columbia Police Department spokesperson Brick Lewis says the 14-year-old is accused of shooting a woman in the neck while they were riding in a car on Crosshill Road early Sunday morning.
The teen will be charged as a juvenile for Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature. The suspect will also be charged for having a pistol before legal age and illegally having a pistol.
The 14-year-old is in the juvenile section of the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
