San Francisco Explosion Rocks Neighborhood
SAN BRUNO, CA (AP) – Officials say at least six people are believed dead in an explosion and fire that tore through a neighborhood near San Francisco.
They say at least 20 people are injured, some with serious burns. Last night’s massive explosion was apparently triggered by a broken gas line that sent flames roaring through the area, destroying more than 50 houses and damaging dozens of others.
