Lexington Co. Woman Charged in Murder

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington deputies say they have charged a woman with the murder of her estranged husband.

Sheriff James Metts says they have obtained a warrant for Shellie Davis and will arrest her when she is released from a Charlotte hospital where she is recovering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Metts says Davis shot and killed her husband Jermaine Davis.

According to investigators Jermaine Davis was found yesterday afternoon by his roommate in their Feather Run Trail apartment near West Columbia.
