Korn, N. Greenville Get Upset Win At PC, 34-17

CLINTON, S.C. (AP) — Idris Anderson rushed for 117 yards and two

touchdowns and North Greenville defeated Presbyterian for the first

time in school history, 34-17, on Saturday.

Anderson carried the ball only 13 times for the Division II

Crusaders (2-3), who never trailed. The Blue Hose (0-4), who lead

the series 4-1, were looking for their first win since 2008 after

going 0-11 in 2009 and losing this season to Wake Forest, Clemson

and The Citadel.

Tied at 7 after the first quarter, Willy Korn put North

Greenville ahead 14-7 with an 82-yard touchdown pass to freshman

Freddie Martino Jr. Presbyterian’s Cam Miller kicked a field goal,

then Korn hit Sean Wright with a 5-yard TD and Teryan Rucker scored

on a 3-yard run.

Presbyterian’s Brandon Miley threw his second touchdown pass, a

7-yarder to Jeremy Cole to make it 27-17 with 8:18 to go, but

Anderson sealed the win with a 6-yard TD.
