Tigers Ready To Move On To Miami
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says his Tigers
appear to have put the disappointment of their last game behind as
they prepare to open Atlantic Coast Conference play against No. 16
Miami.
The Tigers (2-1) gave up a 17-0 lead to fell at No. 10 Auburn
27-24 in overtime two weeks back. Swinney said the club spent its
off week workouts concentrating on fixing the mistakes that cost it
the game. Swinney thinks the players have come out with a renewed
confidence about how good they can be.
Swinney says he’s more encouraged than discouraged with
Clemson’s play so far and its ability to repeat as ACC Atlantic
Division champions.
The game against Miami (2-1) begins a stretch of eight
consecutive ACC games for Clemson.
