Tigers Feel Season Turning Around

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson coach Dabo Swinney sees one big

edge his current Tigers have over last year’s ACC Atlantic Division

champions.

Swinney says that 2009 team stumbled when it lost to Maryland,

leaving the squad 2-3 and needing a six-game win streak to reach

the league’s title game. Swinney says his current group have played

hard each game and that’s led to its two-game win streak.

Swinney hopes Clemson will keep the same single-minded focus on

Saturday at Boston College the Tigers have shown in wins over

Maryland and Georgia Tech.

Offensive lineman Chris Hairston says it’s starting to feel like

last year again. But he said the recent victories won’t matter if

Clemson slacks up against the Eagles.
