California sign company putting plant in SC
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) – A California sign company is opening a plant in South Carolina that will have about 135 employees.
Multiple media outlets reported the South Carolina Commerce Department said Wednesday the plant will open early next year.
The agency says Coast Sign Incorporated, of Anaheim, California, will put the plant in the South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center in southern Greenville County.
The building was last used by Michelin North America and has been vacant since March.
Hiring is expected to start in December.
