A plane crashes in Kershaw County, 1 dead

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — A small plane crash in Elgin left one person dead Friday.

Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews says the small craft went down between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m. Friday near Larry Jeffers Road, which is near I-20 in Kershaw County.

There is no word yet on the identity of the victim.
