A campaign to stop littering
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — South Carolina has zero tolerance for litter.
Law enforcement officers gathered at the State House Tuesday to announce the kickoff of a month long anti-litter program.
They say law enforcement officers will be focusing on littering laws this month, some of which carry fines of more than $1000 and a year in prison.
Officers say there will be several anti-litter programs held throughout the state this month.
