The 2011 Read-In
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Things were rocking at the State House Thursday morning for the kickoff of the “2011 Read In”.
Hundreds of students from across the state descended upon the State House steps to get excited about reading.
ABC Columbia anchor Eric Weisfeld was happy to serve as M.C. for the event.
Teachers say events like these show just how important reading really is.
The event also promoted library services in South Carolina communities.
