Lexington-White Knoll Baseball Postponed

Lexington, S.C. — Wednesday night’s Lexington at White Knoll AAAA Lower State high school baseball playoff game has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. It’s an elimination game with the winner playing at Ashley Ridge on Friday needing to win two games to advance to the State Finals. Lexington (26-3) had its 15-game winning streak snapped in its 10-2 loss at Ashley Ridge on Monday. White Knoll (23-7) rallied at home to eliminate South Aiken 5-4 on Monday. Lexington is 2-0 versus White Knoll winning 8-0 on the road and 12-6 at home. This is the Wildcats’ 20th road game of the season (16-3) and their eighth contest against a AAAA ranked team (6-1).
