WHAT: Columbia Recognizes Homeownership Month with a ‘Help for Homeowners Event‘ WHEN: Saturday, June 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. WHERE: Eau Claire High School, 4800 Monticello Road The City of Columbia Community Development Department is recognizing National Homeownership Month by hosting an event to celebrate the journey to homeownership and to support a family‘s participation in homeownership preparation. National Homeownership Month is observed each June to highlight the critical role of homeownership in improving lives, creating jobs, and strengthening communities across America. Join Community Development on Saturday, June 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Eau Claire High School, 4800 Monticello Road for the OMG of Homeownership…Owning, Maintaining and Gardening event featuring hands-on instructional sessions. The event‘s signature sponsor, Wells Fargo, will provide a clearer picture of the refinance process and mortgage modifications. Homeowners also will receive valuable advice on decorating on a budget, landscaping and home improvement, and credit counseling and repair. Register early for a chance to win a mini home makeover!
