Congaree Quest Scavenger Hunt To Benefit Children’s Chance

The Hunt Is On – Dress to support your favorite team! This event is presented by the Caycee-West Columbia Jaycees. Registration begins @ 1 p.m. at the CWC Jaycee Hut (see location) Hunt time is 2-4 p.m. * Up to 4 person teams * $40 per team or $10 per person * Prizes for the fastest teams, best team costume, and best team name * Door Prizes * Your team will be given a list of items to fi nd around town and you will be unleashed! * To satisfy your hunter’s appetite there will be a cookout afterward back at the hut! The event allows families to have dinner with the USC Gamecock Football Team and Coaches, watch them practice and receive signatures. The players and coaches sit with the families and listen to the kids about their struggle with cancer. This event is very special to the families that face this devastating disease. This event gives the whole family an opportunity to be together and an evening where they do not have to think about cancer. Children’s Chance’s mission is to improve the quality of life of children and families who are dealing with the trauma of child’s cancer.
