BMW Charity Pro-Am adds new course
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — The Web.com Tour’s BMW Charity Pro-Am will add a new course to its rotation next spring in The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
The layout in the foothills of South Carolina is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course and replaces The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, which has been part of the tournament’s three-course rotation since 2008.
The other courses used for the celebrity event are Thornblade Club in Greer and Greenville Country Club’s Chanticleer course. The tournament will take place May 16-19. Competitors play each of the three courses the first three rounds of the tournament, then those making the cut play at Thornblade.
Nick Flanagan won the event last May, defeating fellow Australian Cameron Percy in a playoff.
