Gamecocks Take 7 to 3 Lead

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — D.J. Swearinger returns the bobbled hand off back for a 65-yard touchdown to give the Gamecocks the first lead of the night 7 to 3 against UAB. The Blazers scored first on their opening drive to give them a 3-0 lead for most of the first quarter, the first time the Gamecocks had trialed at Williams-Brice since the Florida game last year.
