Edison Lecture Series for middle and high school students (4th and 5th grade welcome)
The goal of the USC College of Engineering and Computing’s Edison Lecture Series, sponsored by Time Warner Cable, is to introduce middle and high schoolers to the means and potential applications and impacts of engineering and computing on the world to become tomorrow’s discovers. The series is held on Thursday and Friday, October 18 and 19 at 10 am and 12 noon on both days, with an interactive exhibit hall between sessions. This year’s topic is Television and Surveillance and will include speakers from the FBI and USC faculty members talking about robotics and hacking.
