Doctors Care 5K Dash to the Vista

As part of the fifth annual Viva la Vista, the Vista Guild announces plans for the second annual Doctors Care 5k Dash to the Vista at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 29. The race offers runners a tour of the Vista that begins and ends in the heart of the Vista, just before Viva La Vista kicks off at noon. “With more than 20 participating restaurants and chefs, we have a dish or two that will entice everyone at Viva La Vista,” says Sarah Luadzers, executive director of the Vista Guild. “The Doctors Care 5K Dash to the Vista gives runners a chance to spend the morning in the Vista and to be the very first to Viva La Vista. The race course is a fun tour of our neighborhood and we‘re so grateful to Doctors Care for their participation and making the 5K possible.” Doctors Care 5K Dash to the Vista participants will make their way through the course beginning at 9 a.m. In addition to six free tokens for food and beverages and an official race t-shirt, 5K participants will also enjoy music and refreshments after the race. There will also be an awards ceremony. “Doctors Care is devoted to making life better for our patients in the Midlands, and sponsoring Viva La Vista with the Doctors Care 5K means an already great event will be even better!” says Chris Hudson, CEO of Doctors Care. “We‘re encouraging our patients, employees and community to join us in exercising before sampling food by excellent Vista restaurants and chefs.” For more information and race registration, please visit www.VivaLaVistaSC.com.
