Florida With 21-6 Lead At Half

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Gamecocks fumbled four times, losing three and Florida scored each time off the turnover to take a 21-6 lead into half time. The first fumble came from Connor Shaw on the first play of the game to set up a three yard touch down pass from Jeff Driskel to Jordan Reed giving Florida the early 7-0 lead. South Carolina got a field goal later in the first quarter to make it a 7-3 Gator lead. Then in the second quarter Ace Sanders fumbled on a punt return and Damiere Byrd fumbled on a kickoff return to set up another two Florida touch downs giving them the 21-3 lead. Adam Yates connects on a 51 yard field goal at the end of the half to give the Gamecocks another 3 points. Florida takes the 21-6 lead into half.
