Internal Citadel sex abuse investigation nears end

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — The Citadel’s internal investigation into the handling of a complaint about a former camp counselor who molested boys could be released early next month. WCIV reports ( that special counsel Joe McCulloch says the report is nearing completion and its final version in early April will include recommendations for policy changes. The investigation centers on how the college handled the complaint about former camp counselor and Citadel graduate Skip ReVille. The school looked into the complaint but never contacted police. ReVille was sentenced in June to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to 22 abuse counts.
