Giant Yard Sale to Benefit Humane Society

COLUMBIA, S.C. (April 18, 2013) – The Humane Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which strives to end the overpopulation of unwanted animals by offering low-cost spay and neuter surgeries and investigates animal cruelty and neglect cases, will benefit from a Giant Yard Sale at Woodhill Storage Centre (6000 Garners Ferry Road), Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. The public is invited to shop for treasures and secondhand items at low costs and all proceeds will benefit The Humane Society. Additionally, food trucks will be at the yard sale and cats and dogs will be available for adoption. The Humane Society is also seeking donations of gently used items to sell at the yard sale. Donations can be dropped at Woodhill Storage from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday through April 30. All donations are tax deductible.
