Game moving to Feb. 14th, on CBS Sports Network

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — The College All-Star Bowl is moving to Feb. 14 and will be shown on the CBS Sports Network. The game will played at Furman University’s Paladin Stadium and feature senior athletes who played high school or college football in South Carolina, or players from the Southeastern, Atlantic Coast and Southern conferences. The game was set for March 1, but bowl commissioner Sam Wyche was contacted by CBS Sports about broadcasting the game and moving the date. Wyatt Sports oversees the bowl game and its president David Wyatt said the earlier date was before the NFL’s scouting combine and fit in well on the calendar for pro evaluators. A second college all-star game, the Medal Honor Bowl, is set for Jan. 11 at Citadel’s Johnson-Hagood Stadium in Charleston.
