Williams Signs With Clemson

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Blythewood stand-out Jalen Williams signed a National Letter of Intent Wednesday to play football for Clemson University. Williams committed to the Tigers in October, during the middle of his senior season. During his senior season Williams made 95 tackles, nine tackles for loss, six sacks and four forced fumbles. Williams said he liked the family atmosphere at Clemson. “It is a lot like Blythewood, it’s a small town and everybody knows each other,” said Williams. Williams also said he likes Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney. “He’s a great guy and he’s real funny, his house is huge by the way and his wife is a great cook,” said Williams.
