George Washington’s Birthday Masonic Ceremony

Acacia Lodge #94 Ancient Free Masons is honoring the actual Birthday of George Washington, with a ceremony on the steps of the Capitol, on February 22, from 3 to 4 PM. We will be placing a wreath at the statue of Washington, there will be speeches by prominent local and Grand Lodge Masons, including the Grand Master of SC. There will be a color guard, prayers, a pledge of allegiance, a laying of wreaths, and more. We have confirmations that over a dozen local Masonic Lodges will be participating, but Non-Masons are welcome as well. This will be a rare opportunity to witness a Masonic ceremony in public, and everyone is invited.
