Train Show

The Palmetto Chapter of the Train Collectors Association is hosting a train show at the National Guard Armory 1225 Bluff Rd. Columbia, SC on Saturday March 21, 2015 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. This year the focus of the show will be introducing children to the hobby. We have many activities for children as well as trains and accessories for sale. Choo – Chee, a 35 foot ride on train will be running outside in the parking lot. A special kid’s corner is located inside of the exhibition hall, children will be able to operate model trains, participate in train races, play with Thomas the Train toys and for the younger ones, a ride on Thomas the Train.. One Lionel train set will be given away free to a lucky child under 12. Other prizes will be given away for free throughout the day. Admission is $4.00 at the door and children under 12 are free with a paying adult.
