TV reporter, photographer killed in shooting in Virginia

MONETA, Va. (WSET) — Franklin County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Phillip Young says there have been reports of an active shooter at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta. ABC News reporter Kendis Gibson reports that a WDBJ reporter and a photographer were shot and killed while filming this morning. Young says this is just a preliminary assessment of the situation. All Bedford County schools are on lockdown. VDOT is reporting a high-priority incident on Route 122 in the vicinity of Dovetail Road near Bridgewater Plaza.
