Auntie Karen Foundation Young Entrepreneurs Conference
The Auntie Karen Foundation 13th Annual Young Entrepreneurs Conference is scheduled for October 31, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Benedict College Development Center in Columbia, SC. The event serves as a conference to bring youth 7 to 22 together to gain skills in areas not traditionally afforded to them. This year’s theme is “Operation Connection”. Subject areas include: identifying entrepreneurial skills, marketing your business, and understanding business finance tools. In addition, students will interact with community, business, sports and entertainment leaders. Conference information: October 31, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Benedict College Development Center, 2601 Read Street, Columbia, SC 29204. Registered participants will receive breakfast and lunch. The cost of the conference is $17 per student before October 1, 2015, and $ 25.00 per student thereafter; Group Rate (10+) is $17.00 per student. Workshops take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Lunch – 1:00 PM. “Successville” (FREE) Business Expo – 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM; Entertainment 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (Benedict Swinson Center). In addition to the conference, there is “Successville” the Youth Business Expo and Showcase. “Successville” is free and open to the public from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Benedict College Swinson Center.
