Gamecock Injury Update

Gamecock football will try to bounce back against Central Florida Saturday, but they will have to do it with several offensive starters on the sidelines. On his weekly radio call-in show Thursday, Steve Spurrier said starting running back Brandon Wilds (ribs) and wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring) will not play Saturday. Carolina starting center Alan Knott will also miss the UCF game after spraining his ankle at Georgia. Spurrier says he thinks Wilds, Knott and starting cornerback Chris Lammons (knee) will be able to play next Saturday at Missouri.
