Red Cross Teams Up with ABC Columbia for Blood Drive

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Officials with the Red Cross say they usually see a decline in blood donations towards the end of the year. Consider starting off the New Year by helping give the gift of life Tuesday.

The Red Cross is teaming up with ABC Columbia and iHeartRadio’s 100.1 The Beat, 104.7 WNOK and 97.5 WCOS to encourage people to make a lifesaving resolution this year: give blood.

Donors can help save up to three lives with their donation at the New Year’s Blood Drive on Jan. 5.
