Trump Campaigns in Lexington County

GILBERT, S.C. (WOLO) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a rally at Harmon Tree Farm on Augusta Road in Gilbert Wednesday.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m.

According to a new CNN/ORC poll, Trump is dominating the Republican presidential race.    More than four in ten Republican voters nationwide say they back the billionaire.    It’s the first time Trump has topped the 40 percent mark.   Trump takes 41 percent of the support of those polled, followed by Senator Ted Cruz, who only captures 19 percent.

No other candidate hit double-digits.
