FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO) — A woman is behind bars after police say she shot her husband in the neck.

Pyrtima Evans is facing a charge of attempted murder after allegedly shooting her husband just after 5:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Forest Acres Police Chief Gene Sealy told ABC Columbia officers responded to the Jamestown apartments on Bethel Church Road and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.

This was the first time officers responded to the home, Sealy said.
