A Deputy’s Cruiser Goes Up In Flames In Uptown Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, SC (WCCB) — An investigation is underway after a Mecklenburg County Sheriff deputy’s car caught fire in the Sheriff’s Office parking lot Monday morning.
Charlotte Fire crews were able to get the fire put out but not before the car was completely destroyed. No injuries were reported from the incident.
The Sheriff’s Office says no one was inside the car when it caught fire around 6:00am Monday morning. They also say the car has been parked in that spot for a couple of days.
No word yet on what sparked the fire. Charlotte Fire Department is investigating.
