Camden, S.C. (WOLO) — Fred Sheheen, the father of South Carolina Senator Vincent Sheheen, was killed Monday afternoon in a car accident.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened on SC 97 in Camden. Sheheen’s political advisor, Antjuan Seawright, says another one of Sheheen’s sons, Anthony, was also hurt in the crash but is expected to be okay.
