Officials: Juvenile Shot in Bus Parking Lot Outside Carowinds

ABC News– Deputies say someone shot a boy under the age of 16 outside the Carowinds theme park. Officials say the shooting happened just after 7PM Monday in the bus parking lot.

York County Sheriff’s Deputies says someone drove by in a light blue car and shot the boy as he was getting off a drop off bus to head home. Deputies believe the gunman targeted the boy specifically, but have not said what might have led to the shooting. Police are still looking for a suspect at this hour.

Paramedics took the teenager to a hospital. They say his injuries are serious.
