Deadly German Market Attack

Germany (WOLO) — At least 12 people are dead and nearly 50 others injured after a truck barrelled through a crowded street in a German Market place as people were shopping for the holidays.

The suspect in the case has not been identified, but officials say he is in custody. According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the truck sped through the crowd at approximately 40 miles per hour showing no intention of slowing before crashing into the shoppers.

Authorities say they are investigating the incident as a possible act of terror.
