Victim in overnight shooting identified as 20-year-old Columbia man

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – The Richland County Coroner has identified the shooting victim who died following an incident on Hardscrabble Road just after midnight.

Coroner Gary Watts said Brandon Logan died as a result of complications from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Logan, 20, was shot in the 4100 block of Hardscrabble Road and was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the incident.
