Victim of fatal crash on I-20 Thursday morning indentified
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A 47-year-old woman died when the vehicle she was driving on Interstate 20 left the roadway and struck a tree Tuesday morning just before 9 a.m.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said Tonya Marie Nazreth died at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital about an hour after the crash.
The incident happened near mile marker 74. Watts said the Hopkins woman was wearing a seatbelt
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the collision.
