It’s officially that time of year again. We can mark it on our caldendars: USC and UConn take the floor this Monday night.

The sixth-ranked Gamecocks will try to do the near impossible task of beating the top-ranked Huskies, who could go for their 100th-straight win Monday night.

This game will be the fourth in the series between Geno Auriemma and Dawn Staley, with “Geno” coming out on top in all three prior contests. But last year’s game was the closest, a 66-54 win for UConn.

Dawn Staley knows the Huskies will try to take away USC’s All-Americans A’ja Wilson and Alaina Coates, but the Head Gamecock still confident in her shooters on the outside.
