Clemson favored to continue ACC football championship run

Reigning national champion Clemson is an overwhelming preseason favorite to claim its fifth consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference football title, according to a poll of 173 media members credentialed for last week’s 2019 ACC Kickoff in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Three Tigers make Cut at The Open Championship

Lucas Glover, Kyle Stanley and Doc Redman all made the cut for the final two rounds of The Open Championship at the Dunluce Links at  Royal Portrush in Portrush, Northern Ireland on Friday. 

Redman fires even par at Open Championship opening round

Doc Redman, who could be on the brink of his senior year at Clemson, but decided to turn professional in June of 2018,  fired an even par 71 in the first round of The Open Championship on Thursday afternoon to lead three former Tigers at the 148th playing of the tournament.

John Newman III scored a game-high 20 points with a team-high seven rebounds, as the United States, comprised of 2019-20 Clemson players, defeated Ukraine 85-63 to win the gold medal in the World University Games at Palasport Del Mauro.
