Lawrence wins Bobby Bowden Trophy Wednesday

The Bobby Bowden Trophy Selection Committee announced today that Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been named the winner of the 2020 Bobby Bowden Trophy, an honor given annually to the college football player who epitomizes a student-athlete of faith and conducts himself as an exemplary model in the classroom, on the field, on the campus and in the community.

Spiller selected for induction in College Football Hall of Fame

The National Football Foundation announced today that Clemson legend C.J. Spiller has been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2021. Spiller earned the distinction in only his second year of eligibility.

Heisman Trophy Preview: Loads of offense in four finalists

Two Alabama teammates, quarterback Mac Jones and wide receiver DeVonta Smith, join Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Florida quarterback Kyle Trask as the finalists for the 86th annual Heisman Trophy. The winner will be announced Tuesday.

Fields’ day: No. 3 Ohio State routs No. 2 Clemson 49-28

Trevor Lawrence was 33 for 48 for 400 yards and three total touchdowns in what is expected to be the junior’s final college game. His final pass was intercepted, but Clemson (10-2) went 34-2 in his starts and won a national title when he was a freshman.
