Staley Speaks on UConn Loss, Vandy Prep

After their 66-55 loss to UConn on Monday night, Dawn Staley’s Gamecocks spent Wednesday afternoon practicing and prepping for their return to SEC action Thursday as they host Vanderbilt.

While the Commodores will enter Colonial Life Arena with a 2-10 record, last in the conference, USC’s head coach is making sure her team is ready to play following their trip north to Storrs. She also addresses her assessment of the Connecticut loss and what Carolina’s performance means for their expectations and championship aspirations.
