Braves Pummel Dodgers, 13-1

ATLANTA (AP) _ Jair Jurrjens and the Braves added to their home

success as Troy Glaus hit a three-run homer and Atlanta trounced

the Los Angeles Dodgers 13-1 on Sunday.

The Braves improved the majors’ best home record to 41-16 while

Jurrjens (5-4) gave up six hits and one run in seven stellar

innings. He’s 5-0 with a 1.83 ERA at Turner Field and 0-4 with a

6.39 ERA on the road.

Alex Gonzalez also drove in four runs for the first-place

Braves, who began the day two games ahead of Philadelphia in the NL

East.

The Braves have won two of the first three in the four-game

series with the Dodgers. The Braves, assured of at least a split in

the series, have lost only one of 19 home series this season.
