Arrest Made in Greenbrier Apartments Robbery

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County deputies have made an arrest in an armed robbery at the Greenbrier Apartments earlier this month. Deputies have charged 23 year old Merellis Dixon, Jr. with armed robbery, kidnapping, and burglary. Back on June 2, Sheriff Leon Lott says Dixon and an unknown suspect were armed with guns, when they knocked on the victim’s door and demanded money. Lott says the men assaulted the victim before stealing his wallet and fleeing the scene.
