Bull Street Property Sale Comes to Final Hurdle

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–It’s been a long time coming, but the sale of the 166 acre Bull Street property in downtown Columbia passed the second to last hurdle needed to finalize the transaction on Tuesday. The state Budget and Control Board approved the plan by Bob Hughes to pay the Department of Mental Health $15 million over 7 years in order to redevelop the old State Mental Hospital.
