Toilet maker promotes conservation during SC stops
WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Officials with a toilet maker are stopping in South Carolina to talk about the importance of water conservation.
American Standard’s Responsible Bathroom Water Conservation Tour is stopping in West Columbia on Monday.
The company says it hopes the campaign will help educate the public about ways to save both water and money without much sacrifice. Part of the mobile exhibit includes hands-on demonstrations of water and energy-saving devices as well as information on money and energy savings using efficient bathroom products.
The free event is open to the public. Another stop is planned in Greenville Tuesday.
