Baseball Team Honored At Statehouse

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — “You’re with us through thick and think, you don’t ever let us give in, you don’t ever let us give out, and we never give up,” says Coach Tanner. “We brought this bad boy back didn’t we boys,” says Scott Wingo. Adrian Morales says the support from the fans was there all season. “it’s incredible the support the whole year, means a lot to us,” says Morales. The City of Columbia rolled out a parade fit for champions on Friday, something Mayor Benjamin says is the least the city could do. “This is our simple way of showing our appreciation and incredible pride for all that these young men have brought to this community,” says Mayor Benjamin. Friday that community turned out to show their appreciation. Meanwhile, Morales says the two titles would not have been possible without the fans. “It’s great I mean we couldn’t do it without them and they are a big part of this success,” says Morales. Coach Tanner seconds that. “We couldn’t do it without you, we always want your support, we can’t say it enough, you guys are the greatest,” says Coach Tanner.
