Welcoming the 4th in big and bright fashion

FORT JACKSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Fort Jackson put on a big and bright fireworks show Friday night in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend.

The annual Torchlight Tattoo festivities kicked off Friday night.

The event began with soldiers carrying in the fifty state flags, accompanied by cannon fire, in the order in which they became states.

The ceremony was followed by a thirty minute fireworks display.
