Cops: Young girl witnessed 3 killings in Wagener

WAGENER, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say the daughter of one of three people killed inside a Wagener home carried her baby brother to a neighbor’s house to report the shooting.

Investigators say Kenneth Myers killed his wife, her twin sister and her mother with a shotgun Saturday night. Several hours later, he killed his ex-girlfriend at a nearby home, then killed himself.

The brother of the twin sisters who were killed told the Aiken Standard that the 7-year-old girl who witnessed the shooting first tried to get her mother’s cell phone from her pocket but there was too much blood, so she ran to the neighbor’s house.

Aiken County deputies say Myers told a friend he would hurt certain people if he snapped and Myers was found as officers checked on those people.
